About NPSSTS
Nipissing-Parry Sound Student Transportation Services (NPSSTS) is a transportation consortium that plans and coordinates safe, efficient home-to-school busing on behalf of our member school boards across the Nipissing and Parry Sound districts. Established guidelines for service levels and transportation eligibility are applied uniformly to students of all the member boards.
What We Do
The NPSSTS consortium was created in 2001 and incorporated in 2003. The Ontario Ministry of Education has since mandated that student transportation be coordinated through consortia, rather than through individual school boards, as a method of streamlining operations.
Plan Routes
We design and manage bus routes and stops that serve every eligible student.
Coordinate Operators
We contract with local bus operators and hold them to safety and service standards.
Champion Safety
We deliver safety programs and support drivers, schools and families.
Deliver Value
By combining resources across boards, we provide better service at a lower cost.
