First Rider Program
The NPSSTS, in conjunction with area school bus operators, is pleased to announce the First Rider Program.
Get ready for the bus
The First Rider Program is designed to familiarize JK students and older grades with the school bus and to help them overcome any fears they may have. Children and parents will also learn about school bus safety procedures, including how to safely get on and off the bus.
Sessions and registration
Sessions will take place in North Bay and West Nipissing during the month of August. To register for a session, please call the NPSSTS at 705-472-8840, extension 209 or e-mail info@npssts.ca.

Here is a great comment received from a parent
Hello. I simply want to offer some positive feedback on the First Rider program by Stock Transportation in North Bay. I attended last week with my daughter, and it was exceptionally well run. The professionalism of all the staff and drivers, and the thoughtfulness put in to make it a solid rehearsal for the children, and let them experience all aspects of using a bus for the first time was exemplary. Please pass on my appreciation for the program and the people at Stock Transportation!
