Transportation Appeals
Parents or guardians can register an appeal with Nipissing-Parry Sound Student Transportation Services:
- where the assigned stop poses a safety hazard for the student(s), and there are specific concerns about the safety of a pick-up or drop-off location;
- when disputing the walking distance in the NPSSTS system;
- when requesting an exception to NPSSTS guidelines because of extenuating circumstances;
- when requesting a closer stop. For information about the Distance to a Designated Stop Location guideline, please refer to SL-003 (PDF).

Courtesy Transportation
Request a seat on an existing route where you are not otherwise eligible.
Walking Distance Review
Ask us to re-check the walking distance recorded for your address.
Stop Location Review
Raise a safety or suitability concern about an assigned stop.
Closer Stop Request
Ask for a stop closer to your home where eligible.
